Age Verification Policy

1) 20+ requirement

You must be at least 20 years old to create an account, access age-restricted features, or use our services. By registering, you confirm that you are 20+ and that the details you provide are accurate.

2) How we verify age

We use a risk-based approach and may verify your age at registration and at any time later. Verification may include:

• Collecting your date of birth and other account details.
• Electronic checks against trusted data sources (where available).
• Requesting a clear copy/photo of acceptable ID (e.g., NZ driver licence, passport, or other government-issued identification) and, where needed, proof of address.
• Consistency checks (name, date of birth, address, device and payment/ownership signals) to detect misuse or impersonation.

3) Re-verification and ongoing monitoring

We may re-verify your age/identity if information changes, if activity appears unusual, if verification cannot be completed, or as part of periodic compliance reviews. Access to some or all services may be limited until verification is completed.

4) If we suspect a minor is using the service

If we suspect an account is operated by, or for the benefit of, someone under 20, we may:

• Request additional age/identity documentation.
• Restrict features, suspend access, or place the account under review.
• Terminate the account where we cannot confirm eligibility or where misuse is confirmed.
• Take other steps required to protect our platform and meet legal/compliance obligations.

Attempts to bypass age checks may result in permanent loss of access.

5) Marketing and minors

We do not knowingly market to minors or knowingly allow minors to use our services. We aim to use age-gating and audience targeting where available, avoid youth-oriented imagery or messaging, and act on reports or signals indicating underage use.
